Preface to our blog

Magic City Slingers was formed in August 2006 as a nonprofit association to promote the use of soft baby carriers, a practice known as “babywearing,” in Birmingham, Alabama.  We have monthly meetings where interested parents and caregivers learn about all kinds of slings from experienced babywearers.  There is a lot of information to share!  Help is best given in person, but we constantly have news, views and how-tos to share … hence this blog.  Come back soon!
